Hiking Mt. Ara 2600 moh
On sunday I went on a fantastic hike to Mt. Ara north of Yerevan. This mountain is often recognized for it’s shape resembeling a man lying down on his back, where his nose is the highest peak.

Descending into the canyon
I was invited by Stephan, an Armenian who’s hooked on hiking. The group consisted of 2 Armenians, 3 French and 1 Norwegian, me. I loved the hike, there wasn’t too much snow so it was perfectly okay walking by foot. On our way down into the canyon we saw fairly fresh tracks from a bear.
Unfortunatly I don’t have the time to write more now, but take a look at the pictures at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/trygveu

She stoops to conquer – the end of an era
As mentioned in previous posts I have taken part in the staging of She stoops to conquer by Oliver Goldsmith here in Yerevan. We have all worked very hard through the last month, memorizing lines, organizing and rehearsing for the play. And now it’s suddently all over – it feels like a vacuum. It’s great to finally have some spare time again, but I’ve really enjoyed the company of the rest of the crew and working together towards the two performances this weekend.
Ms. Constance Neville whom Hastings stribe to conquest.
The end result was great, the audience was more than satisfied and it was a truly great experience. I want to thank the rest of the crew and I hope we’ll be able to keep in touch.
I may find the time to write more on this, in the meantime you may look at the pictures on my flickr tag shestoopstoconquer.
